Is There Anything More Special Than Gold?

It has been thousands of years since humans have used gold as a symbol of status. Earlier people were not aware of the properties of gold other than the unique shine. The charm of its yellow color made it fascinating for humans to choose it from the rest of the precious metals. The chemical symbol of gold's origin also testifies it. Au which is actually a Latin term which means “Glowing Dawn”.

The advancement in science has proven the importance of gold and the value of this unique metal as compared to other precious metals. Its malleability and other properties make it different from the rest of the metals on our earth. A single gram of gold which would look like a grain of rice in size can be flattened into a 10 square feet sheet.

Gold is also the most ductile metal on earth. Considering the unique characteristics of this precious metal, you can draw gold into the finest and longest element wire more than with any other metals. Gold is also the best conductor of heat and electricity, and its durability stays longer than all the other conducting materials.

A small amount of gold is used in almost every sophisticated electronic device. This includes: cell phones, calculators, personal digital assistants, global positioning system units and other small electronic devices.

Most large electronic appliances such as television sets also contain gold. Gold has the great ability to defy the rust makes it even more highly regarded. Whether you sell platinum, diamond, silver or copper, you can’t beat gold.

Considering the beauty and useful properties of gold it is noticeable why gold is so valuable? Gold is difficult to extract from the earth which contributes to why the price of this unique metal is high and getting higher day by day. Today, people are utilizing enormous resources to locate even the smallest deposit of this precious metal. Tons of rocks are being collected by the miners. For every 270 trucks covering 20-22 tons of extracted dirt and rock the miners expect not more than 20 grams of this precious malleable and ductile glowing dawn.
The oceans are also a huge source of gold but extraction is not practical with the technology we have today. According to the NOAA there are nearly 20 million tons of gold to be mined from the worlds oceans. In the future, we will certainly have more cost effective methods for extraction and mining the oceans floors.
The unique properties and characteristics of this glowing, precious metal make it ideal for producing jewelry. 60% of all gold mined today is made into jewelry. Gold' unique conductivity allows gold jewelry to rapidly match the human bodies temperature effectively becoming part of you thus concluding Gold Solutions premise that there isn't anything more special than gold.
